To accomplish the ultra slim look and feel, HONOR developed a new and exclusive high-strength but lightweight aluminium alloymid-frame bezel plate, which reduces the weight of the mid-frame bezel plate by 4g and is 15% thinner than traditional smartphone frames. The material also guarantees the durability of the mid-frame bezel plate, protecting it against falling and bending. In the testing session, aluminium alloy mid-frame bezel plate can withstand up to 10,000 bend and drop tests, as well as passing a rigorous three-point bending fatigue test and a 1200N compressive strength test.
